Handmade Textile Cat

This handmade textile cat is a one-of-a-kind soft sculpture created by Varvara Kurakina as part of the Wookawoo Creatures collection.

The cat is sewn from textile and filled with soft cotton wadding. Wool details, visible hand stitching and layers of acrylic and oil paint create its worn, tactile surface. The face and markings are individually painted by hand.

The figure is soft and flat rather than freestanding. It can be placed on a shelf, among books or other collected objects. A small loop on the back also allows the textile cat to be displayed hanging.

Each Wookawoo Creature is individually handmade. This cat is an original OOAK piece and will not be reproduced exactly.

CARE

Dry clean only. Do not wash or soak. Keep away from water, high humidity, prolonged direct sunlight and heat. Remove dust gently with a soft, dry brush.

Ships from Poland, EU.

The textile cat will be carefully packed in protective packaging. Track-and-trace shipping is included where available.

For orders shipped to the United States, I use DDP shipping whenever available. This means applicable import duties and taxes are prepaid, so US buyers should not be asked to pay these charges again upon delivery.

For destinations outside the European Union and outside the United States, customs duties, import taxes or additional fees may apply and are the buyer’s responsibility.

RETURNS

Returns are accepted according to applicable EU regulations. Please contact me before sending the item back.

The item must be returned in its original condition and protective packaging. Return shipping costs are the buyer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or an incorrect item was sent.
