Lineage – Needle Felted Wool Hand Sculpture
Lineage is a one-of-a-kind needle felted wool sculpture in the form of a human hand, with red thread wrapped around the fingers and delicate hand embroidery across its surface.
The red thread represents the connection between ancestors and descendants, memory and body, past and future. Small stitches trace the surface of the wool like marks beneath the skin — carrying ideas of blood, memory and inherited knowledge.
The sculpture combines the soft texture of felted wool with fine embroidered details and loose red threads extending from the wrist.
