This unique figurative art piece belongs to the contemporary sculpture collection by Varvara Kurakina and is part of the Wookawoo creatures universe.
A figure shaped by structure and air. This piece explores the delicate boundary between volume and emptiness, fashioning a magnificent dress out of a woven iron wire framework — an open form that holds space around the body. The figure sits lightly above the base, suspended in a quiet, tactile world between weight and perfect balance.
Hand-sculpted using fine layers of premium papier-mâché, natural fabric, and fiber, the sculpture reacts beautifully to directional lighting, casting elegant, narrative shadows on surrounding walls. Tiny Swarovski crystals are masterfully integrated into the piece, catching the light with a subtle, mystical shimmer. An exquisite statement choice for minimal desks, fireplace mantels, or high-end gallery displays.
