Between Wings and Silence is an original contemporary watercolor painting by Varvara Kurakina, created in 2025 for Depiano Art as part of the Folk Tales series.
A human figure emerges from translucent washes while a raised hand and surrounding bird-like forms seem to become wings. Layers of blue, slate, rust, and warm earth tones hold the image between tenderness and tension. The painting reflects on protection, inner transformation, and the quiet language that exists before words.
Its intimate scale invites close viewing. Granulation, flowing edges, overlapping shapes, and small shifts of pigment remain visible throughout the surface, giving the work an immediate and dreamlike presence.

Returns
You may return the artwork within 14 days of delivery. Please contact me before sending it back.
The artwork must be returned in its original condition and protective packaging. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the artwork arrived damaged or the wrong item was sent.
